I'm so incredibly excited that i finally bought a bike today My boyfriend and i went to look at them and both got one. Great deals! my boys and i wetn out on the trails as soon as we got home. Anyways. I like to ride the paved trails, about 24 miles a week. Will this ruin my tires? I think the name of the tires are bontrager jones.

At 24 miles/week you should easily get 2 seasons out of a pair of mountain bike tires. Smooth tires offer less resistance on paved surfaces, but knobby tires get the job done just fine. Have fun with your new bike!!!!

That's a great setup, and good luck! I hope it fits well and you ride it plenty....which I'm sure you'll have no problem doing...

Congrats on the new bike!
Sooo...it sounds like you've got some miles under you so why not come up and do the iceman in November! They are holding spots for Velo Bellas only. (this is a big deal because this event sells out within a week)
Even if you just come up to Traverse City, ride around a bit on Friday, (we can do a fun group ride) don't race then come for the parties Saturday night you'll be hooked!
