Send an email to Velo Bella info@velobella.org and let them know you want to join up. Tell us where you live and what kind of racing you are interested in.
You will be contacted by someone (hopefully from your area) from our welcome group. They'll walk you through the rest of the steps!

Hi Nancy,
I, too, am a new Bella and live in Fort Collins. What kind of riding or racing do you do? Are you new to the area? I would love to hook up for a ride sometime.

Hi Shannon!!!!
My partner and I just joined and we are SO happy to hear there is another VB here! I used to race road "back in the day" and I am getting back into it. I want to do crits and am looking to get into some CX racing. My partner Melani is relatively new to the sport as a whole but she's interested in it all especially DH and CX.
We would both love to get together and ride! What kind of racing/riding are you doing?
I not actually new to the area having been here for 2 years but being from CA I am new to the I can't ride outside everyday phenomenon :-).
Are there more of us out here that you know of?

Hi Nancy,
Sorry that I didn't get back to you sooner. I got busy at school wrapping things up before Spring Break!
I race mountain, road, and cyclocross, but my primary focus is mountain bike racing. Since I'm new as well, I don't know how many VB women are in Fort Collins, but there are a few in the Boulder area.
When and where do you usually ride? Maybe we could hook up for a ride sometime soon. Enjoy your weekend!

Hey Shannon,
Sorry it's been so long. I'm at the final push at CSU and buried by end of semester projects.
As for riding, I ride mostly road o the various paths here and Horsetooth because I love to climb for some absurd reason. I have done almost no mountain biking since I moved here but I would love to. Right now my trainer has been my best friend give the bi-polar nature of FoCo weather! Where do you usually ride. I would love to hook up and ride.

Hi Nancy,
I hear you about school. I have been swamped with grading lately. I can't wait until June! As for riding, I mostly ride mountain bikes, and I, too, love to climb! I frequently ride Rist and Buckhorn Canyons or Horsetooth Mountain Park.
Also, I just started the New Belgium short track. These races are great for mid-week hard efforts. They are low key and so fun! The races are every Tuesday behind the brewery. Women race at 5:00pm.
Let me know if you want to hook up for a ride sometime soon.

Are you doing the New Belgium short track series by chance? A woman came by my work, (Full Cycle), and said she had raced against a Bella last Tues. She also said that Bella kicked butt :-). Was that you? Will you be there this Tues 5/27? Melani and I are planning to go watch so we will be the two crazy sideline Bellas cheering you on, (if that's you, of course).

Hi Nancy,
I have been racing the NB short track! It has been a great time. The people are wonderful, and the racing has been a test of fitness. Hopefully, the track dries out for tomorrow. I look forward to seeing you!
