I highly recommend watching the two Gripped Productions movies - Off Road to Athens and 24.
The other night was the showing of 24 at the Arlington Cinema Draft House - to a sell out crowd. It was really wonderful to see all the local racers, including the stars themselves, their families, and the producers too all sharing beers and snacks and watching the movie. I remember hanging out and watching Jason Berry's 'home videos' of the 24 hrs of Moab races way back in the day, like 6 years ago. Even then you could tell he was going to make some good stuff in the future - and sure enough these two movies don't disappoint.
The movie 24 shows Chris Eatough in his natural setting - all the awesome trails of the Mid-Atlantic. Goes to show that you don't have to live in Boulder to be a great mtn biker (no offense to Katie and Georgia who moved from the Mid-A to the oxygen deprived rockies - surely it doesn't hurt to live out there either).
It's pretty neat to see your favorite riding places in a movie, but even better to bump into the celebs themselves while you are out on a training ride.
