Just wanted to say "hi" to the Bella who rode by near the base of Brasstown Bald on Saturday morning.
Hope you had an awesome time watching the stage! Our group had a great day out there -- you can see us here, at the TdG website/gallery. Not in Bella colors unfortunately, but decked out in black, white, and red to support our "home town team" ... Bissell Pro Cycling based in nearby Grand Rapids, Michigan.

| I wasn't in my Bella gear over the weekend, but I was there. I know I saw at least one Bella jersey out there! By the picture, I wasn't too far from you on BB. I was sitting just inside the corner in the grassy spot. I got some great video, but the pictures didn't turn out very well.

Then there were at least three Bellas out there on Saturday ... because the bella salute came from someone riding in a Bella jersey  I wish I had known you were nearby ... we had a full selection of beverages that we would have been happy to share!

Sorry I'm so slow about checking the boards! That was me, Cheryl Stevens, the Velo Bella you saw climbing Hwy 180 near Brasstown---I was doing an event ride called "Circle the Bald"---surprisingly enough, I was 1st women over the climb & first woman in at the finish---it wasn't a race, but it felt good to push myself! After the ride, I came over & hiked to the top to watch the pros---Your Bissell guys had a really good showing all week! I guess my guys are the High Road boys---George Hincapie lives in Greenville, SC not too far from my hometown of Seneca, SC. Hope you all had a great week at TdeG---come back again next year & if you're going to be in SC, give us a head-up---we'd love to have you come ride with us! We have a group of about 10 VB's in our area & some really great roads & routes to ride!
