Hey SoCal Bellas. My name is Heidi Kanayan and I am originally a SoCal racer and still one part time. I race cross pretty much exclusively in SoCal. The Series I race in is the SoCalCross Prestige Series. For more info go to SoCalCross.org. I do race for another team for cross for a few varying reasons (nothing bad) but I am still a Balla at heart. I also come down on occasion for mountain bike races and some TRIs. So if you girls want to include me on your SoCal roster that would be great. I currently reside in Mammoth Lakes, CA. It is kind of considered a part of SoCal due to the geographically difficulties to get to the coastal area from there, especially in the winter. So it is more then likely that if I am going to race anywhere in Cali it will most likely be SoCal. Though there are those random trips to Reno and Tahoe.
Any way to help expedite things here are my race categories and disaplins:
Mtb: XC: expert; DH: Expert; Super D: Pro (for '09)
Cross: cat 3 (will be asking for cat 2 upgrade)
Road: cat 4 (will be interested to do some more road races in '09)
So yeah there it is. My other info is is the racer chicks profile section on our site. I hope to see you girls out at some cross races and maybe I will make to a TRI again at some point.
