I have a cyclist friend, Ken, coming into town this week and he's looking to do Palomar Mtn Friday AM (done around noonish), starting from Lake Wolford. Is anyone interested in joining him? He's a super cool, fun guy, excellent cyclist, former racer, strong rider..and you don't have to be a pro to ride with him! He's been a great help with my riding. If anyone is interested in riding Palomar on Friday, let me know.
We're also going to do the Famous Julian Pie Ride on Saturday. I was suckered into doing it this weekend and had a great ride (even if it did kick my rear!). Ken wants to do this ride too, as it is so epic, so there are 2 ride options for Saturday: 55 miles up Sunrise Highway & 70 miles up Kitchen Creek. All start in the parking lot in back of the coffee shop in Pine Valley. Long ride starts at 9AM, Short version starts at 10AM. If you're interested in doing this ride, let me know.
