Can anyone suggest a good group ride to join in on in Sacramento (or Folsom) area this weekend? I assume there has to be some regular rides going on up there..

Hey Ryan,
Here are two choices:
1. The River Ride Downtown:
2419 K St.
Sacramento, CA 95816
We meet behind City Bike Works about 9:45 and start by 10:05 (once someone starts yelling we are late for the 10:00 roll out). It's an easy 5 miles conversational pace, then it starts moving like a road race (25-30 mph). There is one re-group and two sprints. We usually have between 40-60 people. I am a regular and would love to have you along!!
The total miles end up being about 45. I ride from my house in Rosemont, which is on the way downtown from Folsom. It's an easy 11 miles along the beautiful American River Parkway. My miles end up being about 63. If you want to meet at my house that would be fun too.
2. The Coffee Republic Ride in Folsom, 9:00 roll out

Folsom, CA 95630
This ride meets at Coffee Republic, a nice little coffee place and goes for a frisky 40 something miles through the hills. They usually have between 15-30 people. It's a really fun route, but easy to get lost if you get dropped. Usually, the ride breaks up into groups.
If it's raining like they predict, the rides are cancelled. There may be some crazy people on the River Ride, but it's not that safe in the rain.

I will give you a call.... maybe we can meet at your house and ride from there for the downtown ride. I am working until 5 today so I will give you a call after work and get directions etc.
