Hi, I am a new (road race) rider moving to Roseville near Sacramento in two weeks time. Are there any group rides organised by Velo Bella near Sacramento?

Hi Anna,
I am a Bella and I live in Auburn. There are a couple of other gals in the area but we do not have Velo Bella specific rides.
Here are some great options though for you to learn the area & meet more people. Sacramento has one of the most expansive opportunities for group rides you can ever think of.
Folsom - every Saturday from Coffee Republic 9:00 sharp. Two options for rides, fast and very fast.
Check out this bike shops female cycling club. They ride every weekend on a set schedule. http://www.bicycleEmporium.com this is a really good group to ride with.
Almost every bike shop in Folsom and Auburn have regular rides. You can check in with them.
Sacramento Wheelmen is a huge club with group rides every day of the week. Check them out at http://www.sacwheelmen.org they ride all over town
I generally ride Saturday and Sunday up here in the hills with a few folks. If you send me your direct e-mail I can include you in the contact list.

Hiya, that sounds great, many thanks for your help. I can't wait to get to CA, over here in England it is snowing like mad, and I can't get out on my bike

Please let me know when you get out on the weekends. Auburn looks like it's very close to me. And I love riding in the hills!
I will check out the other websites. I was already looking for a good bike shop anyway, as I won't be able to fly over all my bike gear, so I might buy some new stuff pretty soon.
