Yes, this is posted in a million places...
I am putting together a ride in the Santa Cruz Mountains 2/7, Saturday. It will be a joint venture with Wayne's team.
Plan on meeting at Lexington Reservoir parking lot, on Alma Bridge road (boat launch parking area) 8:20 AM for 8:40 roll out.
We will stop at the Summit Store about 9:45 so can also meet there, though I'm not sure about parking at the store. We will be in Wild Dingo territory and Jules will be meeting up with us to ride her FAVORITE HILL, Mtn Charlie.
Route: Up Old Santa Cruz to Summit, R on Soquel/San Jose to Laurel Canyon, Branchiforte, Granite Creek, Glenwood, Mt. Charlie, summit back to
Lexington or to the store.
Reservoir
Distance: 46 miles
Climbing: 4600 feet
There are 2 optional routes for severely, steep gut wrenching climbs up through Redwood Estates, and also Riva Ridge for those so inclined.
Will regroup at key points, tops of climbs, bathrooms. This is a beautiful ride! The pace will be moderate, and we will wait for everyone!

Mark those calendars!!
Hopefully the weather will be nice!
I hear parking may be limited at the dam because of construction, carpool if you can. There is also a parking lot about a mile down from the dam, and we will pass by there if you need to park further away.
There is a good bit of climbing, but will likely split up into a couple groups so fear not the climbs...
Hope you can make it!

I'm of course hoping for shine, heavy rain cancels, drizzle OK. I will probably show up anyway with fenders...
