Hello CA Bellas,
Twin Cities MN Bella here, needing some local info.
I will be spending a few days near Santa Cruz in late June with my sweetie while he attends his annual Bell/Easton sales meeting, and we're bringing the bikes.
We're going to be staying at the Scotts Valley Hilton, and I'm wondering if it's possible to find any good cycling routes that we could access from the hotel. I'm from the flatlands, so I realize any route will probably be a challenge to my legs, but I'd just like to know which roads are safe and where the good scenery is.

Hi Kate,
I live in Santa Cruz and work in Scotts Valley, so I know the roads pretty well. Anything out of Scotts Valley is going to require at least a bit of climbing, but there are some flatter rides down closer to the beach and also down in the Watsonville area.
