Anyone interested in doing the West Michigan MS150?
I did it for the first time last year & since it was my favorite of the season, I'll definitely be back this year. Why? A great, social event, a very fun weekend, supports a good cause, and (unintentionally) the hundreds of brightly clad cyclists on the roads do a lot to promote cycling and motorist awareness of cyclists.
Quick overview...
Choice of 75 or 100 mile route each day
Rides are fully supported (and I do mean FULLY -- rest stops every 10 or so miles offer friendly volunteers, port-a-loos, food, drinks, and more food. It is VERY easy to gain weight on this ride!)
Saturday: ride from Grand Rapids to Holland; stay overnight at Hope College dorms (costs for shared accomodation, dinner, and breakfast are included)
Sunday: ride from Holland to Grand Rapids & indulge at a post-ride party
