Our incompetent state governor is threatening to cut spending on over 200 California State Parks! Once this happens, many will eventually lose all funding and be forced to close. Unbelieveable! Many of us have probably hiked and biked through many of these parks and to see them possibly closed is sobering. We can take action! Check out the California State Park Foundation at http://www.calparks.org/. Here you can sign a petition and write letters to your representatives to pressure them to vote this proposal down.

As a state park worker, please sign the petition. State parks are a revenue generator, taking in more money than what it costs to run. Hopefully this is a poly to get other things cut, such as welfare.
