the author of this post was kind enough to extend this invitation to the michigan bellas. BOW clinic graduates, this is a great opportunity for you- so go check it out!
Cadiuex Bicycle Club/Team o2, Wolverine Sports Club and MOTIVE FORCE-Loose Spokes
Wednesday at 7 pm from the Community House in Birmingham, Bates and Townsend, we will have a women's only training ride. This ride will be focused on developing basic riding skills, including group riding, turning, signals and verbal communications to riding cohorts, and tactics. Handling skills will also be addressed. This will not be a workout ride in the respect that we will not push the pace as the goal is to learn to ride as a group and to introduce less experienced riders with riders who are experienced with group riding, triathalons, and even road racing.
All female riders who receive this note are welcome to attend. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Once we get you going you may wish to dismiss me and if so I'll vacate as the intention is for women to be introduced to the sport amongst their female cohorts. In my defense I have been a past member of NOW!
Looking forward to seeing you. Of course HELMETS are a must and road bikes preferred but not required.
HEADS UP!
