Yes, Yes Yes!!!!! Robins, buds on the tree's, shedding the winter coats all a sure sign of spring. But the real true sign is the official announcement of the Annual "Hodaddy's Downtown Ho'down Hump". This year it will just a tad earlier then past due to all the traildays & demo days, but it's "on like Donkey Kong"!!!!
It will be on Saturday April 19th, 2008 @ 9:45(15 minute rule), 10:00 we roll!!! We will meet in Ferndale on 9 mile just east of Woodward in the city parking lots next to the libary. We will roll down Woodward to Downtown Detroit. We will stop at the Starbucks on Woodward at Mack around 11 for any folks in the Wayne State area that want to join us (This is where I, me, dana, will meet up with the group).
We will then proceed through the Wayne State area towards downtown and stop at Hart Plaza around 12 and meet any folks who would do a shorter ride and park downtown. Then it's off to Elmwood Cemetary, Heidelburg Project, Belle Ilse and then back to Downtown and Lafeyette Coney Island for some take out and over to CAMPUS MARTIUS for our lunch. Once done we head back down Woodward to Ferndale.
This is a "NO DROP RIDE" and I will provide my cell # that day to all riders just in case. The pace will be casual and as always it will be a full on HOOT!!!!! So post up for all who are attending and where you plan to join us at. If you do the whole ride I think it's around 40 miles.
