I got the Small Bib Knickers and a Small Wind Vest.  I like them both.  Actually, I LUV the Bib Knickers!  They fit great, and are cozy/fleecy on the inside.  I wear a size 6, am 5'4" with a short torso, and I am sooo happy that the bib straps aren't too long on me.  Great graphics, too.

If anyone is selling the Bib Knickers or a Wind Vest, I'd recommend you buy them.

I'm posting a reply too, because there are so many complaints that I'd like to put my two centavos in.

I ordered off of the sizing chart and it fits just as anticipated.  I have the bibs (first pair ever), 2 pairs of shorts and a jersey.  I love the colors, stitching and fabric.

I cannot imagine that there would be one brand that would fit each of our body types and tastes.  My stuff does not fit exactly perfect, but it is pretty darn great and I thank Sabine, Laura and whomever else was invloved with the ordering/decision process!

I had a lot of complaints about most of my kit, EXCEPT for the race jersey. I'm really impressed with it! I'm glad I bought in in white & black:-)

The bib shorts and jerseys fit exactly as expected. I am pleased with both. Love the gripper on the bottom of the jersey so it does not creep up to my arm pits while I am riding. Also, I love the full size pockets. Yippee! Chamois seemed comfortable after a 2+ hour ride. So, all is good.

Just need to get my mens skinsuit exchanged for a ladies (what I ordered based on the size chart), and I will be happy!

I got a jersey, arm warmers, and bib shorts and love them all. In hindsight, I wish I had ordered one size larger in the shorts, but I love them nonethless, and only wish I had ordered more stuff! It's gorgeous.

Everything fits as expected according to the size chart presented by Primal Wear. The jerseys are fantastic. The Prima Shorts are very nice but are a little short for my taste. I prefer a standard length short. I'll deal with it though. Also, first wear of the shorts found some chafing on my bum. All in all, satisfied...

LOVE LOVE LOVE my bib knickers! (men's XS) :D  Rode 3-4 hrs of trail yest. in 25-30 deg. weather & felt fantastic! Yay! Also love the fit of my new jersey & wind vest. (women's Small / men's XS -- wore a S in Louis Garneau 2008)

Question: Sounds like in general the 2009 shorts are fitting snugger / shorter than 2008?
I love my 2008 size small Louis Garneau's -- does that mean I should go w/ mediums in 2009? Thoughts?

Thanks!

hmmmm. In all the previous kits: Verge, Hincappie, etc. I have always worn medium with no problems. This time I felt the jerseys ran small, the Tiame shorts are small with a "underwearlike"  low cut waistband (not too attractive for those nearing 50) and to boot, the Medium wind jacket was HUGE! I'm glad I was able to pass them on.
Oh well, can't fit us all!!!

Did anyone else have a problem with how low the bib shorts are cut in the front?  I don't think I'm going to going to be able to stand them.

The knickers were great, although I bought the wrong size because the men's size chart was completely irrelevant to my body.  The proportions are good, but the side panels of the Smalls are stretched to the point of translucency over my hips.  I will need to loose some weight to fit them comfortably.

I love my two jerseys, but no one said the shorts would be like dolphin shorts!!! I checked the web site and there is no measurement for the shorts, but I can tell you that it is 3 inches from crotch to hem. Also they are wayyyy low cut as well. They needed to say "low rise". These may be great for stick figures, but not for me.  I knew they would be small as I ordered these before I had back surgery and I knew I would put on some weight, but these make me feel like a sumo wrestler.

I wear a small in the Louis Garneau shorts too.  I ordered the Medium Tiame Bib Shorts, and they fit nicely in the shorts area.  The waist isn't too low cuz of the bib-style.  So I would say yes, go with Mediums in Primal.

But...  (there's always a but!) my torso is too short for these bibs, and I can't shorten/alter the straps to make them wearable, therefore I'm going to sell them.  It's funny how the (men's) bib-knickers straps are perfect for me, but the (women's)bib-short straps are too long.

Thanks Jamie!
Yes, I ordered the men's XS bib knickers and they are a perfect fit -- straps are perfect, too! THanks for the info -- that helps...

I love everything I got! The only problem I had was with my hard head in not ordering a large when apparently that's what I wear. I love the colors and the design and the materials. Can't wait for the next order so I can get the right sizes.
