Any of ya'll have a favorite? Any recommendations?

I am looking at the Polar's that have the Heart Rate Monitor, Cadence Sensor and the Bike Computer/Odometer. I don't want something too swanky, but want something that'll do the job and last.

Let me know what you know! I'm listening!

Our sponsor, Cateye, makes a nice looking unit called the V3 that has all of the features you listed.  The retail price is in the same ballpark as the Polar unit you referred to.  You can try calling or IMing Alex to see about getting club pricing on it.  This weekend he mentioned that he gets about 400 emails a day, so that's not the best way to get a quick reply from him. :)

Well I bought the V3, have had it for a week, and LOVE it! I have read many reviews that speak somewhat negatively of it, but I sincerely have no idea why. The HRM works beautifully, I can see my cadence perfectly, as well as how fast I'm flying (or not) and how far I go. Heck, I burned calories I didn't even realize!

Seriously, it's awesome. Christie recommended, and you can kick me in the toosh if you think otherwise.

Watch it and keep your receipts... My boyfriend had one and after about a month he started having issues with it.  He returned it to cateye under warranty, but opted not to replace it with another one.  I am not trying to speak negitavly about it because it looks awesome! Just saying to keep an eye on it and make sure it keeps working:-)
