The VB administrators have tested this board for a while to see if this would be a dependable method to work the chats. There is always something that will come up though.
This is where you want to post questions or problems when the darn thing just won't work. (the all else fails file).
This chain will be monitored for more problems seen and updated with fixes as we find them.
More help with the forums can be found here: http://www.wowbb.com/forums/forum4/
Current open issues:
1) Some firefox users have reported the following:
"Firefox can't find the server at http://www.$server_name.com"
Appears to be fixed.
2) Camino browser with Mac sometimes freezes browser when replying to a post.
Still investigating. but might be related to java settings.
This is not caused by Flandrias Avitar.

Was problem #1 when clicking on the link in the activation email? Because if so, that was a temporary problem during web transfer that has now been solved. The link in the activation email was wrong. This affected all users, not just firefox.
As for #2, there are several issues with FF documented on the wow community. I'll try to find a good thread on it and link it here.

Camino issues not being able to post comments:
May not just be camino, could be other browsers.
Ok.. Just figured it out.
The problem was due to the animated smileys. The browser was reloading the page each time the image played.
This has been seen in other browsers too, but I managed to figure it out with Camino by going to preferences >Web features: Select "play animated features only once".
This has been fixed in the newest Camino 1.0.3.

Can we insert hyperlinks on our posts... i.e. a word or phrase highlighted and when you click on it, it takes you to the web page? I've looked everywhere on the control panel above here and can't seem to find it... I can find the insert image, insert flash, etc., but no hyperlink thingy.

Highlight the text you want to link
Click on the globe with the link on the toolbar in the reply box and insert the url in the pop up box.
And pardon the sloppy photo work but hopefully this shows it.

For whatever reason I don't have the hyperlink icon or the spell-check icon... am I not worthy?
I'm on Firefox 2.0.0.1 if that makes any difference.

Actually it appears I'm missing more... as far as icons go I only have:
13 top
9 bottom
I can't see what they all are on yours, but you have several more than I do.

In the meantime you can use the method described in the help section.

Okay, here's the word
the spell check and hyperlink feature in the reply box do not work with firefox. You can use firefox's spell check for the spell check part, and you will have to use the feature described in the help section to insert hyperlinks with a name.
You can cut and paste a link and its active...just not as pretty.
They promise more functionality for FF users in future releases.
