hey there...
I'm wondering if anyone did last weekend's cccx xc race? I'm thinking about doing this coming weekend's, but I don't have a clue what the course is like. Plus, I haven't done any mtb racing yet. If anyone has any feedback/words of wisdom, bring it on!

Hey Lisa: there was a handfull of bellas at the race on Sunday.
The course gets changed each race, but basically: shorter, intense climbs w/false flat recovery areas and bumpy downhills (again short). The courses are usually power courses. Not technical at all. I am not sure which category you race in but, beginner does 3 laps, sport 4 and expert/pro 5 laps.
It is a good time, so come out and play

Suenago got it right...I've only done one CCCX MTB race, but know the trails fairly well out there. The CCCX races are great for someone who hasn't done much mountain bike racing because the trails are pretty chill, fairly fast, and really fun. Nothing technical at all.
You should definitely come out this weekend! This past weekend there were Bellas in every race, so there will be a friendly face no matter which category you race.

excellent! thanks for the info! I'll definitely be in the beginner group.
I'll be there with my Bella jersey on, and I'll keep my eyes peeled for other Bellas...
