Cat Asks:

Is there anyone out there that can reccomend someone (a coach) that I
can work with in Colorado? Specifically for endurance mountain
biking. Thanks.

hello cat

if you are ok with remote coaching check out
http://www.lwcoaching.com - linda races herself e.g.
transrockies. she offers off the shelf plans
depending on distance and expertise as well
as customized plans.

good luck!

My coach, Missy Thompson, is based in Boulder.  She is more of a roadie/trackie, but I believe she coaches mountain bikers and long distance edurance athletes as well.  She is definately worth talking to before you make a decision.

see:  http://www.rockymountaincoaching.com  Her email is
Melissa.Thompson@colorado.edu

In regards to Melissa as a coach....do you know her rates?  I've just been fishing around and haven't been able to afford a lot of coaches.  Linda W. would be my preference but she's too much for my budget.  Thanks for everyone's input.

Missy charges $100 a month for a bi-weekly schedule that she will update on the fly as necessary.  I think she is a bargain.

cool!  Tell the Princess of Pain that I recommended her in spite of her snippy comments about my training habits (or lack thereof) yesterday.   :P
