I joined the team a couple of weeks ago and have been getting excited checking out the chat and racing boards. I moved to the Monterey area last May from Montana. I ride both road and MTB and do triathlons. I really want to race a little of everything next season, and throw in some Xterra tri's. I've been mountain biking a lot lately in Fort Ord with my husband and the MORCA group; any bellas doing winter MTB or road riding? I'd love to join in! Also, is there a Bella tri team? It would be great to have a group to train with.

Welcome to Monterey. There are quite a few Bellas around Monterey who do a little of everything. I just moved here this summer, so I'm relatively new, too, but there are plenty of opportunities to ride with some fun ladies!
The CCCX races make it easy to race right here locally on the Penisula. Their MTB series starts in February and lasts thru June I think. http://www.cccx.org/
There are also Saturday MTB rides just up the road in the Santa Cruz area. There's normally a post in the NorCal portion of the boards with the info.
I'm not a roadie or a tri-chic, so you'll have to get that info from someone else. I know there's an Xterra in the central Cali area in April.
