Hey ladies,
My husband and I are moving to NY, Patterson to be exact. (just north of White Plains)
Just wondering where everyone is and if there are any rides or Bellas in the area.

Hi,
Welcome to cloudy NY! We are north of you from Ithaca, Syracuse area. It's a big state and I don't know of any bella's down near the city. I do know of many riders though. And you are welcome to come stay and meet the country gals. We would love to take you on a ride in wine country.

Ohh! I'd love to! Actually, speaking of "wine country" what is the wine situation in NY? Are CA wines easy to come by out there? Maybe when I come up we can do a wine ride - I'll bring "wine country" wine from N. Cal and you gals can bring the NY wine! Ok, so there might not be much riding done at that point, but hey, it'd be fun!

That sounds perfect. Drink, ride, fall down. or, ride, drink, laugh and then fall asleep. Actually the NY wines kinda suck. there might be a few whites that are OK but you'll usually see Cal, french, Itallian or Chillean wines in our homes. If someone were to bring a NY red to a party at my house, they would get it back as a gag gift for Christmas. It tasts like Boones Farm. Get settled in and we'll plan something. You can pass out at my place.
We'll get you set up on our NY bella list serve and see what we can put together. Get ahold of Kate Stewart for the NY list.

Hi Allie,
I know where Patterson is because I used to live right around there. I now live in CT but I am in White Plains often as my ex husband lives there and we have a daughter. So, we may see each other every now and then at some of the more southern based NY/CT races. I am just getting back into it again though from takeing almost 2 years of from an illness. Hope to see you! :-)
