Hey ladies,
So I've heard many of you mention wanting to get t shirts or sweatshirts printed up. I personally think it's a great way for us to identify ourselves as teammates/supporters of VeloBella. Not to mention, looking cute 
Is there anyone out there who has connections or done any research on possibly doing this?
Aside from a local shop, there is the option of ordering them online. Like going through customink.com or someone similar. They let you choose what brand of tee (American Apparel gets my vote- SO soft), upload your own graphics, low minimum order, and free shipping. It looks like we can design a tee, give an order amount, and get a quote.
Is this something we can maybe get a few of us to work on? Would you order something like this? What graphics would you like to have on them?
Feedback please!

We had some t-shirts printed up last month. I have a few left. They're white, short sleeve with the same logo that's on the visors (Velo Bella Kitty). They turned out REALLY well.
We had them done by a local business, and he did a great job. They cost about $15.40 each, but will cost less if we reorder since he's already got the graphics set up.
We may get some hoodies printed up next month- still seeing what the interest is.

I have my own printing business and also have done the VB kitty logo on Bella brand shirts. I can do pink or blue. I also can do long sleeve or short sleeve.
All Bella get a discount on shirts because I know the cost of bikes and parts.
Tee shirts for Velo Bellas are $5.00 plus shipping
Long sleeve for Velo Bella are $8.00 plus shipping
Let me know if you would like hoodies for the same design. I could do them for a better price.

Yes please do! I am looking forward to hearing from you.
I am also able to get embroidery done. My mother in law does all my work for me. She also did an order for the VB pro team.
We had some really cute fleece hats done.
I am also thinking about doing more designs for tees.
Anyone have any ideas to share?

I'm a Graphic Designer ... and helped with the layout of the last two seasons of Bella jerseys ... and helped with the Surf City stuff (tee design and logo art last year).
What do you think about a zip sweatshirt?
... take the current Velo Bella and kitty logo and put Velo on one side of the zip and Bella with the kitty on the other. I realize it's a bit tricky getting it close to the zipper with the screen process. But since it's a single color print, maybe less problematic?
I'm not much for hoodies ... but love my zip sweatshirts.
I definitely want a long-sleeve tee and the fleece hat sound perfect.
I can help with any graphic files that you need (I put together the vector file that you are using). Let me know what you want, I'd love to help out.

Wow! This is awesome & I can't wait to order some of this bella-riffic stuff.
In addition to all of the other goodies under discussion, would anyone else be interested in long sleeved "tech Ts" ? And....could anyone who has posted here offering to do the logo screening put the logo onto tech fabric?
My triathlon club has just done some of these shirts using Patagonia Capilene and they not only make an awesome base layer (especially for cyclocross -- yes, I'm addicted), but also look great as casual wear. Logo on the front, club website along the arm ... website is really visible when you're on the bike ... I really wish this one (see below) said http://www.velobella.org !

I have both the capilene 1 & 2's embroidered with VB on them and while I absolutely LOVE them, the capilene 2 (& probably 3) would be a little too hot to race/ride in. But I do wear them pre/post race and again LOVE them. Though they are a little pricey...
I'd love to find a thinner more running type of long sleeve, cuz I think the capilene are a little to heavy to run in...
Maybe something more like the tech tees that whitney had done last year from patagonia??? (can't remember the material) I love running in them, would love a long sleeve of the same material???
and I like the VB Kitty idea or the new blue logo the best!

I have some experience with printing on technical fabrics. In fact, I am anxiously awaiting to see how a new company did with our Marathon/Half Marathon tech shirts (event occurs this Sunday in Fresno). This might be a great source. They do the SF Marathon shirts. We can get sleeveless, short-sleeve and long. Lighter fabrics will be fantastic.
I know they use a different curing method with the tech shirts. Hence using a company that is well versed in screening on this material. It might have become much more simple since I first started with the tech fabs about six years ago. I leave it to the pros in the screen-world.

Thanks for doing all this! I can't wait to put in a nice big order! I was just thinking a couple of weeks ago that all my tshirts were looking a little ratty and that I needed new ones!
I was wondering if there is any chance of adding a darker tshirt option, like the sweatshirts? I dig the pink and blue, and will be getting at least one of each, but black or dark gray is also a nice option for hiding bike grease while working at the shop or for ladies like myself that always seem to end up spilling food on myself while wearing light colors!
If not no big, just thought I'd throw it out there!

That is a great idea! I do plan on doing more designs in the future that would work great for darker shirts. I will definitely keep you posted when I plan on doing them.
