Hey girls! I'm going to be in Vegas next week for a conference. This will be my first time out there. I'm not sure I'll be able to get any riding in while I'm out there, but I was wondering if there was anywhere off the strip that I should visit while I'm there. Any suggestions??

Old Town Las Vegas is pretty cool to see at night with the Fremont Street Light show overhead. http://www.vegasexperience.com/

Shows how much I know! I didn't realize there was a new and old strip! Thanks for the info! I definitely want to check that out!

| If you have time to rent a car and take a day trip, I recommend the west rim of the grand canyon (via the Hoover Dam) [,]http://www.destinationgrandcanyon.com/], Red Rock Canyon []http://www.redrockcanyonlv.org/] with mostly casual paved road cycling []http://www.redrockcanyonlv.org/Biking.htm] or the Valley of Fire State Park []http://www.desertusa.com/nvval/] best seen at sunrise or sunset. There are also some petroglyphs in the Valley of Fire. Attachment: Petroglyphs - Valley of Fire, NV.JPG (Downloaded 26 times)

| Reminded me, I've toured Hoover Dam and that was pretty cool if you're into "dam trips"... the view walking across it was impressive too.

I think I'm going to have to save the dam/canyon trip for another trip. I'd love to see it, but I'll be in meetings from 7:30-5:30 every day I'm out there...unless I decide to skip out on one of the days of meetings. We'll see how feisty I feel when I'm out there.
