How do I deal with faulty results? Grrr... after working so hard, do I just let it go? I know we are just supposed to be having fun, but then why race? For results, right?? Trivial in the big scope of things, but also a bit frustrating.

I agree - you paid to do an event, and the results should be right. It's at least worth voicing your concern about.
Not to mention - the promoters can't do anything to fix it for future races if they don't know there's a problem. Maybe it will help and maybe it won't but staying silent about problems like that is guaranteed not to fix anything.

Well, first check the results when first posted. That isn't always possible, but with the folded, crumpled, covered, too high, too low, upside down, backwards and just mis-attached numbers, sometimes the officials misread them or just plain miss them. RR results are particularly tough as there are multiple groups finishing while others may be going into their last lap, etc. So the number x44 in your group might get confused with x44 in another.
Once the race is over, you can email both the promoter as well as the Chief Referee. While they may or may not be able to update the results based on your message, at least they'll know there was a problem and look for ways to fix it. Links for the CRs are now on the NCNCA website.

Thanks everyone! I emailed the promoter and am staying chill... low expectations of fixing the results. Thanks Again! It was still a fun race!
