Hi Bellas!
So I had knee surgery last year and was off the bike all year and will be doing my first comeback race of 2008 tomorrow!! It will be the first time I've really raced under the VB colors so I wanted some ideas and advice on exactly what other bellas do out there to flair themselves for races. I have some ideas already, but I wanted to see what some other tried + true ideas are: glitter? ribbons? nail polish? Please give me any ideas. I want to show up to the race with a bang.
Thanks! And good luck to any bellas that are racing anywhere this weekend!

Yay! I hope the race went well.
Flair = anything that makes you feel fun, fast, and bellalicious.
I know, me = so helpful

Sorry to see this too late for the race in question, but here are a few things we found out at Sea Otter:
- Pink & blue glittery pipe cleaners to hold the number plates on work wonders.
- The little plastic rhinestoney-butterflies and flowers and whatnot from craft stores, the kind with peel-off sticky backing, will stick to the bike frame through an entire race. They will also go nicely on the number plate, the brake bodies, and sunglasses!
- Colored ribbons in the hair, on the handlebars, and wherever else.
Enjoy!
