A few days ago, I was thinking about about what tattoo I'd get if I were to get one (hubby's strongly considering a Campy logo) and I thought a VB kitty would be cute.
That got me thinking about the history of our logo. I believe I read somewhere that he was modeled after a member's real cat and his name is Triffin. Is this correct?
I'm sure I'm not the only member who would like a history lesson.
I don't know that there is much of a story. But yes, the kitty on the jersey is Triffen. He was named after [url=mailto@zzo's]P@zzo's[/url] cat. [url=mailto@azzo]P@azzo[/url] is the artist who came up with our logo and did the jerseys and lots of our other awesome art.
Sadly the real Triffen passed on, but lives his 10th life on our kits!
