Hi all -- I got a sneak peek at the goings on yesterday at the North American Handbuilt Bike Show, being held here in my beloved Portland!

I did not go inside yesterday -- my ticket is for Sunday -- but while waiting for some friends to come and meet me for lunch, I saw a LOT of cool stuff. I hope to get more pictures today and add them to my flickr site. Yesterday I got a great shot of a bike from Rwanda, being displayed at Ira Ryan's booth to raise awareness for Bikes To Rwanda. B-To-R is a Portland-based venture that is sending bicycles, tools and instruction to Rwanda as a way of promoting new micro-economies in that country.
