Someone mentioned a while back that the letters section of the lastest Velonews referred to be VB website, but because of a subscription lapse, I didn't get my copy until yesterday. The letter was about a dad who's 4-year-old daughter saw him reading Velonews and asked if ladies ever raced bikes. His complaint was that the magazine didn't provide enough examples to show her. In addition to mentions of the women featured in that issue, the editor also suggested that he show his daughter the Lunachix and VB websites.
I was just thinking with all the talk of stickers, tatoos, and other swag lately, wouldn't it be nice if we could find out her address and send her a bit of a VB care package? As many others have mentioned before, reaching out to juniors is so important because children are so enthusiastic and fearless.
Also, this maybe should go on the clothing thread, but since the main ion SS jersey comes in a minimum of size S, would it be possible to order one of the less expensive jersey's in the tiniest size available so that we would have kits available for junior bellas when they wanted to join the team.
I was thinking that members could "sponsor" enouch kids-size jerseys to meet the minimum so that we would have a stash available to give away/ sell at deep discount when needed. I would be willing to pitch in to the fund. Does anyone else think this is a good idea?

| That would be really cool to have Velo Bella t's available for ladies of all ages, including the younger ones. Even the cute toddler outfits I've seen the Styers sport on their podium boy....They would be a great selling point and may encourage the younger kids to get out and ride their bikes....

I'd be willing to chip in for a base order of kids jerseys. Maybe they could be a little simpler than the full Bella jersey, but still look cool, to keep costs down to get more? If we get enough girls to chip in, it would be doable...
